Danville FY27 budget calendar opens public hearing track through June adoption votes

Danville has published its FY 2027 City Manager's Proposed Budget timeline, beginning with the March 17 presentation to City Council and extending through a sequence of hearings and adoption votes in May and June. The posted schedule maps out when tax, fee, utility-rate, and school-budget actions are expected to move.

According to the city page, the introductory budget is scheduled to be available online on April 30, 2026, followed by multiple public-hearing points including school budget and tax changes on May 5, and city operating and capital budget hearings in early June.

For Danville residents and business owners, the practical value is timing: this calendar marks the windows when public comment is most likely to influence final policy decisions before fiscal-year implementation on July 1.

The city has also posted linked budget documents and summaries on the same page, making it easier for community stakeholders to review line-item context before hearing dates arrive.
