Roanoke expands C-PACE outreach with March sessions for commercial property owners

The City of Roanoke posted on February 23, 2026 that it is rolling out outreach for Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE), including informational sessions in March for property owners and business stakeholders.

City materials describe C-PACE as long-term financing for eligible building improvements such as energy efficiency, renewable-energy systems, and resilience-focused upgrades.

For the Roanoke Valley desk, the local impact is economic and operational: participation can lower retrofit barriers for older commercial properties while supporting broader downtown and corridor reinvestment plans.

The city encouraged interested owners to attend sessions and review eligibility details before project planning or financing applications proceed.
