STONEVILLE, N.C. — The Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of construction equipment reported earlier this week in the Stoneville area.
According to authorities, the larceny occurred on December 17, 2025, along Young Road. Investigators believe a vehicle captured in surveillance images may be connected to the incident.
Anyone with information about the theft, or who can identify the vehicle or its owner, is urged to contact the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office at 336-634-3232.
Tips may also be submitted anonymously through Rockingham County Crime Stoppers, which now uses the P3 Tips system. Anonymous tips can be submitted by texting ROCOTIPS to 738477, or through the Crime Stoppers app.
Officials encourage the public to come forward with any information that may assist in the investigation.
